Peer Reviewers at the Higher Learning Commission
The Commission relies upon the work of peer reviewers for its accrediting activities. These volunteers generously share their knowledge and experience to assure and advance institutional quality. Learn more about what it means to be a peer reviewer.
The Commission maintains a Peer Review Corps of approximately 1,300 faculty and administrators from institutions within the nineteen state North Central region. The peer reviewers play an incredibly important role in all stages of the accreditation process. They are responsible for assuring that an institution is complying with the accreditation criteria as well as for helping an institution advance within the context of its own mission.
Peer Review Profiles and Visit Information
To ensure that the Commission can provide peer reviewers with the support and resources they need, the Commission needs up-to-date profiles for each reviewer. To update an account, please log in to the Peer Reviewer Data Update System (PRDUS). PRDUS also provides reviewers with their scheduled visits and blackout dates.

Peer Review Training
The Commission provides training to peer reviewers to ensure that they are prepared for their role in the accreditation process. If selected, the reviewer will be expected to attend the appropriate training program. Newly selected reviewers will automatically receive notices and registration information on the appropriate program.
